I paid for honey bee relocation but I’m confused on yellow jacket extermination

Since I have a huge backyard with a tall fence wrapping the entire property, I leave my dogs and cats outside for as long as they want whenever the weather permits.

Both of my dogs love to lay out in the sun for hours at a time, often sleeping for the duration.

My cats tend to explore and chase small animals like lizards, squirrels, and birds. Sometimes it isn’t easy to get them to come back to the house. One time our cat named Tabby was outside for several days and we thought something must have happened to her. When she finally came back days later, she wasn’t in good shape. She looked like she had rolled down a hill and gotten into a fight with a pack of feral cats. Another time our cat Richard was stung by a yellow jacket and ran underneath our shed to hide. He was in pain but we couldn’t get him to come out for at least an hour while he made audible noise. We eventually got Richard to come inside and we treated his wound, but I was annoyed that there were yellow jackets in the yard at all. I have paid to hire a honey bee relocation service once to take honey bees out of our yard and deliver them to a honey farm. I might have empathy for the bees, but I don’t like yellow jackets for any reason. The exterminator can take care of those nasty bugs. Thankfully the exterminator came out to our house the following day and got rid of all of the yellow jackets.
