Getting back to nature still comes with residential heating and cooling

I’ve been wanting out of the city for as long as I can remember.

And that’s a long time indeed.

Having been born and raised in the city, every chance I had to get into the woods, I did. For sure, I’ve never been a hang out in the air conditioning sort of person. Even living in the city, I tried to spend as much time outside as possible. But there is a limit to just how much serenity I could get in the park. So it became more clear that I would need to ditch the bad HVAC equipment in my apartment and head for the hills. It took me a while but I was able to purchase some acreage. From there, I got creative. I found a large prefabricated shed that came in 3 pieces. It was the shell for the cabin I built inside of it. I even have residential HVAC. I had buy the HVAC technician dinner that night since he had to travel so far, but the guy put in my ductless multi split system. It’s essentially two ductless heat pumps. And man, do they ever take care of my heating and cooling needs. But primarily, I use them for HVAC cooling in the summer. This region has a fairly mild winter thankfully. Now I still need the ductless heat pumps in the winter but not as much as I do in the summer. The summer heat can be intense. My place is surrounded by trees so I don’t get a ton of breeze. Without the nice HVAC cooling from the ductless heat pump, it’d be pretty miserable in the summer.
