I’m not exactly sure what is behind this recent trend of not believing in experts.
It’s puzzling for sure.
I’m not so sure it’s not due to social media and people sort of telling each other what they want to believe. It’s a weird phenomena indeed. But, I happen to trust the experts in my life and most that I have ever come in contact with. For sure, I only trust the heating and cooling experts when it comes to my HVAC equipment. While I’m fairly mechanical minded and in the design field, I know that an HVAC professional is the one for the job. It’s tempting for all of us to want to fix everything on our own around the house. That sure does help out with the finances for sure. But when it comes to something as essential as heating and cooling your home, that’s HVAC professional territory. I’m just not so confident in those who tell me what a scam HVAC service and maintenance is. They also tend to be the same people that talk a really big game until you call them on it. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for a DIY HVAC repair those folks. It’s much the same way with my car. I don’t start tearing into when there is something amiss. That would be pretty insane with the amount of delicate technology there is in there. The same goes for the HVAC technology inside today’s residential HVAC. It’s best to simply call the HVAC company if there is a cause for concern. Don’t trust your HVAC equipment to anyone who doesn’t believe in HVAC experts.
